Plugins

Administrators buy, download and enable plugins in the store; users install, upgrade and disable them in the plugin market; free modules and moving servers.

Administrators buy, download and enable plugins in "Plugin store"; regular users manage plugins already provided to their account in their own "Plugin market". They are different pages; pick the section for your role. Plugin development is covered on the website's developer pages.

Administrators: get and enable plugins

"Plugin store" is not in the sidebar yet: add /dashboard/sys/plugin-store to your control-plane address, for example https://console.cdnca.com/dashboard/sys/plugin-store. "Buy" buttons on feature pages also lead here.

  1. On the "Browse" tab search by name or ID, pick a price filter and click "Search".
  2. Open "Details" and check publisher, version, permissions (especially high-risk ones), price and the pages and menus it adds.
  3. Free plugins are claimed directly; for paid ones click "Buy", choose a price and pay with your market prepaid balance or by QR code.
  4. Once paid, "Download" appears; click it and the control plane verifies the signature and stores the plugin.
  5. Click "Go to enable" and enable it where its type belongs:
Plugin typeWhere to enable
Theme"Themes" page (/dashboard/sys/themes)
Rule pack"Sites → Rule packs"
DNS, SMS, mail, ICP lookup, payment providers"Third-party provider plugins" (/dashboard/sys/plugin-providers); enabled only after its contract test passes
Pages or services for a userSomeone with plugin permissions in that user's account confirms it in "Plugin market"

To confirm: the plugin shows "Enabled", and the actual user opens the feature, saves a setting or completes a real task.

The "Purchased" tab lists this control plane's plugin licences, expiry and auto-renewal; "Advisories" lists security advisories to handle. "Activating" usually clears within a minute.

Problems:

  • No entry: ask an administrator to check permissions, or that this control plane is connected to the market.
  • No price on sale: contact the plugin provider.
  • Bought but missing from the user's plugin market: give the platform the plugin name, version and order number; do not buy again.
  • Payment unclear: check the order first; do not pay again.

Free official modules

Aggregated edge, automatic defense (learn, observe, alert), ICP lookup, IP intelligence updates and the Alipay/WeChat/Epay/Codepay channels are free official modules included in every new install.

Regular users: install plugins provided to you

You need access to the plugin and permission to manage plugins; with view-only access you can read details and an administrator installs.

Open "Plugin market" by adding /dashboard/sys/plugin-market to your control-plane address (not in the sidebar yet).

  1. Search by name or ID, pick a status and click "Search"; if nothing shows, clear the filters and click "Refresh".
  2. Click "View details" and check name, version, status, required permissions and added pages.
  3. When the status is "Installable" or "Purchased, awaiting your confirmation", click "Install".
  4. Check the permissions in the dialog; read and confirm sensitive or new ones separately, and ask your administrator or the provider if unsure.
  5. Click "Confirm installation", then refresh the list.
  6. Once it is "Running", open it from its menu or site tab and check it works.

"No plugins available yet" means ask your administrator whether it was provided to you; a missing "Install" button means check permissions and status. If signature, compatibility or licence checks fail, follow the message and contact your administrator or the provider; do not reinstall repeatedly.

Upgrade

  1. Find the upgradable plugin, read the release notes and decide whether settings need changes.
  2. Click "Upgrade" and check the target version and new permissions.
  3. Read the permissions that need confirmation and click "Confirm upgrade".
  4. Refresh, check version and status, and use the feature once.

If the upgrade fails and the old version is still running, note the error and version, check the old feature still works and contact the provider.

Disable or uninstall

  1. Open the plugin, check the plugin, version and what depends on it.
  2. "Disable" pauses it; "Uninstall" removes this installation.
  3. Enter a reason (it goes into the activity log) and click "Confirm disable" or "Confirm uninstall".
  4. Refresh and check the status and related pages.

Uninstalling does not cancel a paid plan or refund it; cancel under "Purchased" in the administrator's plugin store.

When the result is unclear

  • If it says it is unsure whether the operation worked, refresh first; to continue, use the "Resubmit" the page keeps for the original operation.
  • If the page opens but data fails to load, note plugin, version, time and message, contact the provider, and ask your administrator to check licence and user access.
  • For a security advisory, read the affected versions and the recommended action, upgrade, disable or uninstall, then click "I have handled it" under "Advisories".

Moving servers

Each plugin purchase is bound to one control plane. Moving to a new control plane needs the purchase rebound (by default once per rolling 30 days; the first binding and unbinding do not count). The licence centre has no plugin rebinding page yet; contact the platform with the plugin name, original order number and the new control plane's licence.
